Sumo Wheels

Sumo Wheels is my first client, a company who sells motorbike rims.

For this project my task was modeling, environment, texturing, lighting and compositing. This project took me one month to make.

Much of the problem solving part on this project was the measuring because I didn't have any blueprints of the actual rim. I had multiple meetings to discuss about what they wanted the scene to look like, and i came up with ideas like all white background and the rim to hover.

My first two weeks were mostly modeling. I used a picture to the side of the actual rim to help me with measuring. After the modeling I use three point lightning for the product and a plane with emission as background to make it look like the rim is out of nowhere.
