3D Animation

The idea behind this project was to learn how these kinds of animations are made. Always thought that car animations were interesting and cool, so I did one myself.

This is the animation I made. I used a BMW M5 that i moduled myself and rigged with the add-on Launch Control. I knew I wanted to have action and tempo in my animation with some faster cuts to make it have a fast feeling.

This project took me one month to make including the modeling part. My plan was to have a bridge and a tunnel scene for the animation. For the tunnel scene was the only light source, some moduled lamps with emission all over the tunnel. And for the bridge scene was an hdri to match the environment.

I started with the modeling part and watched tons of modeling tricks to make the car look as realistic as I could. It was my first big and detailed object i moduled.
